Paddles in Action is an Ontario wilderness based, outdoor leadership company designed for 12-18 year olds who seek fun and adventure as well as flatwater and canoe tripping skills to take the first step in becoming effective outdoor leaders.

Participants can earn certifications from the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (O.R.C.K.A.) related to flatwater paddling skills and they also have an opportunity to earn lifesaving swimming certifications from the Lifesaving Society www.lifesavingsociety.ca. Led by experienced and highly trained outdoor leaders, participants are also introduced to challenging teambuilding activities throughout their experience to promote fun, cooperation and effective communication. Campers leave the program with a greater appreciation for nature and understanding of Canadian Shield geography; new canoeing proficiencies, teamwork abilities and a significant sense of accomplishment as well as new friendships and great memories!
